SPONSORSHIP OF IIF AWARDS


The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) presents the Annual Awards for the year at the Inaugural Session of the Indian Foundry Congress.

Nominations for the Awards are invited and judged by the Awards Committee against the criteria set for each Award.

The Institute now invites Corporate Sponsorship for the following Awards which will be decleared from 2005 onwards.

1. Foundryman of the year Award PLAQUE
2. IIF Region of the year Award PLAQUE
3. Membership Growth Award for IIF Chapter PLAQUE
4. Award for the Best Technical Paper (Other than Non-Ferrous) Published in Indian Foundry Journal during previous years SILVER MEDAL
5. Award for the Best Technical Paper (Non-Ferrous) published in Indian Foundry Journal during previous two years (Awarded every alternate year) SILVER MEDAL
6. *Award for Best M. Tech Thesis on Foundry Technology from nominations received from various academic Institutions SILVER MEDAL
7. *Award for Best Student of Metallurgy from IIT Mumbai GOLD MEDAL
8. *Award for Best Project work in Foundry at undergraduate level from IIT, Kharagpur SILVER MEDAL
9. *Award for the Best Student in Metallurgy from MS University, Baroda. SILVER MEDAL
10. *Award for Best Project Work in M.E. specially in Foundry from IISc, Bangalore. SILVER MEDAL

(*Awards listed under Nos. 6 to 10 above would be presented at the respective Institutions, IIT/Engineering Colleges at their appropriate functions. These Awards will not be presented at the Indian Foundry Congress)  

The Sponsorship amount for these Awards will be as follows:

a. Gold Medal: Rs.1.00 lac
b. Silver Medal/Plaque: Rs.50,000/-

The Award and Certificate will carry the name of the Sponsor.

Corporate Houses/Members are requested to indicate their willingness to sponsor any of the above awards along with sponsorship amount ( Demand Draft in favour of “ The Institute of Indian Foundrymen”, Payable at Kolkata.)

The sponsor would get the benefit of Income Tax U/S 80 G.
